We have brought together all the important practical features, minus the gimmicks, that you need in a horse rug. In particular the following features are important for performance:

Fabric
Gohorse 600D and 1200D and 1680D synthetic rugs use high quality fabrics to deliver the desired charactersitics needed which are durability, abrasion resistance and tear strength.



Ripstop
Some horses seem intent on damaging their rugs and a ripstop fabric is essential to limit any tearing that might occur and allowing repairs.



Countour Fit
There is not much point in using the best fabrics unless it is combined with a great design. That is exactly what we do to deliver a rug that fits well to the shape of your horse and does not move or slip off when it shouldn't. Like people, all horses are a bit different in shape but the cut of our rugs ensures a comfortable fit for most horses while at rest and play.

Waterproof
Our paddock rugs have a very high level of waterproof performance, this is what our customers tell us they want and this is a key area of development for Gohorse.



Taped Seams
A feature of our rugs that cheaper rugs do not have is internal taped seams to minimise the entry of any water along the seam. It is not enough just to have waterproof fabric but effort must be made to keep water out of all possible entry points.

Breathable Membrane
Breathable berformance of fabrics is equal and some would say more important than waterproof performance. With a Gohorse rug you get both.



Bartak Reinforced Attachments
Attachment points for leg straps, belly straps, chest buckles are high stress points and Gohorse rugs have all attachment points extra reinforced with cross stitch and bartacking to ensure thay stay strongly attached.

Buckles and Straps
We believe that the quality and strength of a rug comes from an integrated design of all aspects from fabrics to shape and down to the design of straps and buckles. Our rugs come with detachable adjustable leg straps, tail cord, adjustable belly straps, double buckle chests closure, triple buckle neck closure. A perfect fit is the combination of the right design and ability to have adjustmenst in all these areas.
