:: Rugs should be handwashed in warm water using only mild detergents, preferably wiped down while on the line

It is important not to scrub rugs heavily, use harsh detergents or wash in hot water as this can demage the waterproofing properties of the rug. Rugs should never be put away into storage unless fully dry. Never dry your rug in a machine dryer only dry an a line.
